How Freehold Researches and Reviews Content

Rules that govern sources, verification dates, automation, corrections, and what Freehold refuses to claim.

Source hierarchy

Controlling authority first: statutes, administrative rules, and official licensing-agency pages.
Contracted exam-provider handbooks second: PSI or Pearson VUE only when the state delegates exam administration and the handbook contains the fact.
Commercial summaries never control: schools, blogs, and competing prep products are not accepted as authority for licensing requirements.
Pinpoint references required: a source needs a named section or provision, not only a homepage.

Review and freshness

Every question

Must include an explanation, source name, URL, section, and verification date. Math questions are also machine-recomputed.

Every licensing fact

Must use an accepted official host, include a substantive explanation, and pass a freshness gate. Expired evidence blocks publication until reviewed.

Whole-bank reading

Automated validation catches structure; human editorial reading catches contradictions, misleading wording, and plausible but legally wrong answers.

Corrections

Reports go to support@freeholdprep.com. Confirmed errors are corrected at source and material examples are added to the public log.

How automation is used

Automation generates page templates, checks links and metadata, balances question banks, recomputes math, validates source fields, and detects duplicate or stale material. It does not turn an unsourced claim into a fact.

Generated pages ship only from authored state data and verified exam configurations. If required evidence is absent, generation fails or the page is omitted. The public coverage ledger shows the usable bank for every state and track.

Independence and limitations

Freehold is an independent study resource, not legal advice, a pre-licensing school, or an official exam provider. Requirements can change between reviews. Confirm consequential decisions with the linked regulator before enrolling, paying fees, or applying.
