Freehold is written and maintained by Sura A, Founder and author, who researches and writes the material and is accountable for every claim on this site and in the Freehold app. Content is researched from state regulators, statutes, administrative rules, and contracted exam-provider handbooks.
Freehold does not claim that every item has been independently reviewed by a licensed practitioner in every jurisdiction. When that level of review has not happened, we say so rather than imply a credential we do not hold.
What makes the material different

Licensing facts cite the regulator, statute, rule, or state-contracted candidate handbook that controls the requirement.
Visible verification dates
Readers can see when a source was last opened and checked. A build gate rejects missing, future, and stale dates.
Public corrections
Material errors and the review work that found them are documented on the corrections page.
