Terms of Service

The terms for using Freehold.

Freehold's Terms of Service: what the app and site are, acceptable use, and the limits of the no-guarantee-of-passage disclaimer.

Effective date: August 12, 2026. These are the first Terms of Service published for Freehold.

Acceptance of these terms

Using the Freehold iOS app or freeholdprep.com means you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or the site.

What Freehold is

Freehold is an independent study resource for real estate salesperson and broker licensing exams. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PSI, Pearson VUE, or any state real estate licensing board or commission.

No guarantee of exam passage

Freehold does not guarantee that using it will result in passing any licensing exam. Practice questions, explanations, and study material are provided for study purposes and may not reflect every change a state or exam provider makes to its content or format after the source was last verified. See each question's cited source and verification date for how current it is.

Your account

Creating an account, where offered, is optional. If you create one, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your sign-in credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time; see the privacy policy for what deleting it removes.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape, redistribute, or resell Freehold's question bank, explanations, or other study content. Do not attempt to circumvent the app's or site's access controls, or use either in a way that disrupts the service for other learners.

Content and intellectual property

Freehold's question bank, explanations, study guides, and branding are owned by Freehold or licensed to it. Nothing in these terms grants you rights beyond using the app and site for your own study.

No warranty

The app and site are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. See the Corrections page for how known content issues are tracked and fixed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Freehold is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or site, including a failed licensing exam attempt.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be published here before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by United States law, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
