The app

The Freehold Real Estate Exam Prep App

6,200+ practice questions across all 50 states, every one citing the statute or regulation it comes from and the date that source was last checked. Free, with no account, no ads, and no in-app purchases.

What makes it different from the other exam apps

Three claims, each of which is either true of the whole bank or not claimed at all.

Every answer names its authority

Each question carries the statute, rule, or handbook section behind it and the date we last verified it. Where we have got something wrong, we publish the correction rather than quietly editing it — see corrections.

The arithmetic is machine-checked

Every math question ships with its formula, inputs, and expected result, and a script recomputes all of them before release. A math question whose own numbers do not reconcile cannot ship. See the formulas.

State law is actually state law

Competing apps have been caught marking candidates wrong on another state's rule. Each of the 50 state banks is sourced to that state's own commission. Find your state.

What is in it

Guided Study Path

Units ordered by how heavily the exam weights them: read the guide, take a Quick Check, pass a checkpoint. Read the guides on the web.

Real-format mock exams

Your state's question count, timing, two-part structure where it has one, and its own passing standard. Compare state formats.

Math Trainer

Commissions, LTV, prorations, cap rates and the rest, drilled by difficulty with step-by-step feedback rather than a bare right or wrong.

A coach that runs on your device

Question help grounded in the app's own guides and citations. Nothing is sent to a server; on supported iPhones it uses Apple Intelligence on device.

Vocabulary that is tested, not listed

Terms drawn from questions the bank actually asks. Browse the glossary.

Exam Week Toolkit

Formula reference, memory hooks, test-day reminders, and your most-missed questions in one place for the last week before you sit.

Prefer not to install anything?

The browser version is not a demo. Take a full salesperson or broker practice test right now, with the same questions, the same explanations, and the same citations.

About the app

Is the Freehold real estate exam app really free?

Yes. There are no ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no paid tier holding back questions. Every question, explanation, mock exam, and study guide is available to everyone.

Do I need an account to use it?

No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your progress is stored on your own device, which is also why the App Store privacy label says no data is collected.

Which states does the app cover?

All 50 states. Each one has its own state-law question bank on top of the national outline, and mock exams use that state's real question count, time limit, and passing standard.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Until it ships, the full question bank and every explanation work in a mobile browser on this site, free and without an account.

Is Freehold affiliated with PSI, Pearson VUE, or a state licensing board?

No. Freehold is an independent study resource. Exam formats and state rules are cited to the authority that publishes them, but no licensing body endorses or reviews this app.
