Stamp Duty Practice Tools

Calculate residential or non-residential BSD and residential SSD. Each result shows the schedule and provision used.

Buyer's Stamp Duty

Seller's Stamp Duty

These are study tools, not tax advice. BSD uses the amount entered and does not test whether market value is higher. SSD covers residential property acquired on or after 11 March 2017, and follows the Schedule's own reading of a holding period: a disposal on an anniversary sits in the band that anniversary closes, so an exact four-year hold is still charged.

Buying rather than selling? Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty is charged on top of BSD, and its rate depends on who is buying, not on the price.

Practise the rules behind these numbers

Ten questions on Singapore stamp duties from the RES bank, each with the provision behind it. Short practice, not a paper: it is not scored out of 100 marks and it does not give a verdict. Enable JavaScript to practise here, or read the sourced pages linked above.
